Brigade has made some of my family and me who we are today. My brother Brian was involved in Brigade and Oac/B3 for a while. My dad, Lee grew up in the program and had been heavily involved.

Brigade was one of the fee common grounds that I could relate to my dad on while navigating the typical challenges of living solely with him during most of high school.

Brigade has given me many new experiences in all aspects of the Four-Fold. From trying the Archery Range to changing camps and finding my true home at home.

This “home” provided me a place where even as a differently able person, I’m accepted. One example of this is that ai had the privilege of also being employed by Brigade as the Custodial Assistant for two years. During that two years, I grew several inches in my life. During that time an unexpected personal /family tragedy happened. Brigade went above and beyond to support my family and me financially and otherwise. It.made the situation much easier to deal with!

Grateful for Brigade!
