2023-2024 Award Winners

Eight-Year Four-Fold:

Brigaders who demonstrate strength, balance, and growth in the four areas of the Four Fold (physical, social, mental, religious) aspects are eligible for a Four Fold award. Additional requirements exist depending on grade level. Group leaders and Brigade Staff determine who receives a Four Fold award. Factors considered include (but are not limited to): attendance, participation, wreath sales, behavior, etc. Brigaders who receive this award during all eight years may be eligible for a post-secondary schooling scholarship (as funds are available).

“My Own Self” Scholarship:

At the start of their 12th-grade year, Brigaders are invited to participate in a competition for “My Own Self” scholarships. Those who earn this scholarship have demonstrated, through a medium of their choice, what it means to be a Brigader and the impact these young individuals have proven to be the embodiment of our camp mantra: “My own self at my very best all the time.” The winners receive a post-secondary scholarship. All projects are displayed at our Senior Awards Banquet, the entirety of Awards Week, and in our building throughout the year.

Wide Awake Award:

This merit-based scholarship is awarded for exemplary performance during the current Brigade year. Sophomore, junior, and senior recipients will be awarded a scholarship that covers half the cost of attending the Leadership Training Conference at Camp Onaway.

Sure & Steadfast Award:

This scholarship is awarded to senior Brigaders who demonstrate a strong commitment to Brigade programs both on their scheduled Brigade night and otherwise. Recipients receive a scholarship that covers half the cost of attending the Leadership Training Conference at Camp Onaway.

2024 Recipients: Peter Ranger & Avery Fischer

Outstanding Brigader:

This scholarship is awarded to senior Brigaders based upon all-around participation and performance during their Brigade career, including Camp Onaway. Recipients receive a scholarship that covers half the cost of attending the Leadership Training Conference at Camp Onaway.
