Creating Moments That Matter
Each summer, Camp Onaway hosts a total of 1,000+ youth on a 6.5-acre island located on the Chain O' Lakes in Waupaca. Youth have the opportunity to engage in popular camp activities like swimming, tubing, water skiing, and team games. Underneath the fun, the real magic of Onaway is found in the lifelong friendships made, the development of life skills, and meaningful relationships made with trusted adult mentors.
Despite our low cost of registration, the need for scholarships to attend camp continues rising exponentially each summer. It is Brigade’s goal to send every child to Onaway who wants to go. Because of this, we’re aiming to raise $30,000 for Camp Onaway scholarships next summer.
With camp registration opening up on January 10th, we hope those who can will support this cause before this date. Knowing there are scholarship dollars available will create peace of mind for families seeking financial assistance for 2023 summer camps. Join us in helping create moments that matter!

When making a camp scholarship donation, please specify that is what it is for. This can be done by selecting “Camp Onaway” for the campaign and “Scholarships” for the purpose in the dropdown menu when donating online. Or, specify Camp Onaway scholarships when making donations by phone or mail.

What Does Your Contribution Support?
Camp Onaway
$500 provides a full scholarship to a week-long camp and includes $25 credit at the camp store.
$250 provides a half scholarship to a week-long camp and includes a $12.50 credit at the camp store.
$100 makes it possible for first-time overnight campers to experience Onaway at Anchor Camp.
$40 makes day camp possible for one child.
