Experience an unforgettable summer by coming to one of Brigade’s summer camps! On the breathtaking Chain O’ Lakes in Waupaca, WI, Camp Onaway sets the stage for transformative adventures in the lives of all the youths who come to our island. Our week-long camps are held throughout the summer and strike the perfect balance between exhilarating competition, tailored activities, and building relationships with peers and adult leaders. The mission of Camp Onaway is to provide an environment where campers can flourish mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually and where campers can learn to be their own selves, at their very best, all the time.
Campers engage in many different activities, including swimming, tubing, skiing, canoeing, crafts, team tournaments, campfires, volleyball, basketball, and so much more!
Based on necessity, scholarship funds are available to apply for during registration.

Full-week camps are designed to provide youth completing grades 6-11 with exciting new adventures. Through a mixture of healthy competition, structured activities, and free time, youth can grow mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually. Activities you can expect during your week-long camp include swimming, tubing, skiing, canoeing, crafts, team tournaments, campfires, volleyball, basketball, and much more!

Anchor Camps are for youth who have just completed 5th grade to introduce them to the magic of Onaway Island. They'll experience many of the activities that take place at a week-long camp, including reveille, flag raising, morning dip, free time activities (including swimming, tubing, kayaking, crafts, topside games, cross-country race), chapel, campfire, and taps to end the day.
Experienced 8th-11th grade campers act as cabin leaders to help familiarize the 5th graders with life at camp.
Boys Anchor Camp: August 10-13, 2024

Youth who completed 4th or 5th grade in the spring of 2024 can explore the island, swim, go tubing, & more! Buses depart from Neenah at 9 AM and return at 5 PM.

Onaway Adventure Camp (OAC): August 10-17, 2024
OAC is a co-ed camping experience for 5th-11th graders. Campers spend the first half of the week exploring outdoors and tent camping at Hartman Creek State Park and the second half experiencing the traditions at Camp Onaway. They’ll also experience canoeing, kayaking, trail hiking, and biking, and older campers have rock climbing, backpacking, and whitewater kayaking opportunities. Led by experienced leaders, OAC allows youth to try new hobbies with gear provided by the Brigade.

Leadership Training Conference: June 9-14th, 2024
Leadership Training Conference (LTC) combines the education of a conference with the fun and excitement of a summer camp. LTC is a blend of empowering speakers, unique leaders, team building, and free-time activities. Available to youth who complete grades 10-12 in spring 2024.
Cost: $495 (week)

Family Camp: June 29 - July 3, 2024
Family Camp is a four-night retreat at Onaway for families and friends to enjoy all the island's activities, including swimming, tubing, waterskiing, canoeing, kayaking, games, crafts, and more! It begins at 2 PM on 6/29 and ends at 4 PM on 7/3.
Cost: $280 per person. Ages 2 and under are free.
