We Build Leaders.

Building Leaders

The Building Leaders program is available for youth in grades 5-12 and runs October-April. Brigaders develop their character and leadership skills for six years followed with an opportunity to put those skills into practice for two years as they co-lead a group of younger Brigaders. Youth are placed in groups of 10-15 and experience a number of different physical activities, workshops, guest speakers, small group discussions and more!

Camp Onaway

Camp Onaway is a 6.5 acre island located on the Chain O' Lakes near Waupaca, Wisconsin. Since 1908, the Brigade has offered camps at Onaway Island as an extension of the Building Leaders program at Brigade. Today, camps are available June-August for boys and girls who have completed grades 4-12 the previous school year. Camp life is filled with fun and enriching experiences never to be forgotten and close friendships that will last a lifetime.

Christmas Giving

The Brigade's Christmas Giving program serves financially disadvantaged families in Neenah and Menasha by providing clothing and gifts so they may experience a memorable Christmas. The Christmas Giving program was able to provide gifts to hundreds of children last year thanks to the generosity of the community, volunteers, and staff. Families are referred to the Christmas Giving program by human and health service departments, schools, churches, and other youth organizations.
