The BOys' & GIrls' Brigade Christmas Giving Program

The Boys’ & Girls’ Brigade Christmas Giving Program volunteers and staff, joined by a caring and generous community, were able to provide a memorable Christmas for 1,000 children last year. Dolls, bikes, clothing, sporting goods, books, blankets, and more helped provide a brighter holiday for the neediest of our neighbors. Mittens and caps knitted by the hands of many dedicated and talented volunteer knitters kept little hands and heads warm during the winter.

Bucky Badger Sweater Silent Auction going on now!
The Christmas Giving Program received beautiful, handmade Bucky Badger sweaters by an anonymous donor. The proceeds from this auction will be used to benefit the Christmas Giving Program. The auction winners will be notified on Dec. 22, 2011. Sweater sizes: 3T, 4T, and Child 6

Starting bid is $25 and minimum bid to raise is $5. Please visit the Brigade to place your winning bid!

How you can help

There are many ways to become involved with this heartwarming program. Individuals, families, businesses, churches, schools, civic and youth groups are all encouraged to participate. Your time as a volunteer is greatly needed and appreciated. Volunteer opportunities and needs include:

• Sponsor gifts for families and children
• Yarn for volunteer knitters
• Wrapping paper
• Monetary donations
• Set-up
• Sorting
• Office projects
• Deliver gifts
