Become a Volunteer

Volunteering can be a one-time activity, but For many, it is a lifetime experience.

It is the policy of the Boys’ & Girls’ Brigade to screen all potential volunteers by conducting a criminal history background check. Brigade does this to protect the safety of the youth we serve. The primary focus of this background check is to ensure that applicants do not have a history of violent and/or sexual crimes. We appreciate your understanding of this policy and thank you for submitting the completed background check form.

Brigade offers multiple boys’ and girls’ camps each summer led by a group of fun, engaging volunteers who help facilitate team games, water sports, and a variety of relationship-building activities. Volunteer commitment can be as long as the full week of camp, a weekend, or even just one day of fun. See the full 2024 camp schedule here to find which camp you’d like to volunteer for.
