Brigade volunteers prepare Camp Onaway Island for season
May 24, 2007
In May, more than 100 volunteers devoted their time to help at 3 work weekends to prepare Camp Onaway for the summer. Volunteers painted cabins, windows, and chairs, installed and repaired docks, split wood, and more. “It is because of Brigade’s volunteers that the maintenance costs of Camp Onaway Island are greatly reduced,” said John Dery, Brigade’s Executive Director. Brigade wishes to thank all of those volunteers for making Camp Onaway one of their priorities.
