Brigade's LTC receives scholarship support from Neenah Rotary Club

For more than 107 years, the Boys’ & Girls’ Brigade has served thousands of youth.  A generous scholarship contribution of $1,500 Brigade recently received from the Neenah Rotary Club will help continue that tradition.  This gift will allow eligible recipients who might not otherwise be able to experience this opportunity to attend Brigade’s Leadership Training Conference (LTC).

The Brigade board of directors, staff and volunteers, and most important, the kids, thank the Neenah Rotary Club for their generosity and continued support.

A generous scholarship contribution of $1,500 Brigade recently received from the Neenah Rotary Club will allow eligible recipients who might not otherwise be able to attend Brigade’s Leadership Training Conference (LTC).

Brigade’s LTC is a 6-day program aimed at encouraging, developing, and enhancing character and leadership qualities and skills within the lives of youth who have completed grades 10-12.  LTC combines the education of a conference with the fun and excitement of a summer camp.  From a blending of passionate and empowered speakers, a unique group of leaders, team-building and fun camp activities, LTC is designed to provide leadership opportunities and growth while developing skills and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Camp Onaway, owned and operated by The Boys’ & Girls’ Brigade is a fully developed 6 acre island with modern camping facilities located on the Chain O' Lakes near Waupaca, WI.  Since 1908, thousands of youth have created lifetime memories and friendships.  This summer, Brigade’s Camp Onaway Island will be home to more than 1,200 youth in over 10 sessions including LTC, 3 Boys’ camps and 3 Girls’ camps, Adventure Camp, and Family Camp.

The Boys’ & Girls’ Brigade serves nearly 900 youth in grades 6 - 12 throughout the Fox Valley with over 500 adult volunteers. The vision of the Brigade is: To be the center of excellence for youth character and leadership development.
